The sound you heard in the installation - The lonely - today came mainly from an animal known as "the lonely whale" or "the 52 Hz whale." Calling out at a frequency above that of other baleen whales, the lonely whale has no companionship, no one to talk with. Perhaps a hybrid, perhaps a relic of a lost species, perhaps a deformed being, it is alone amongst all other oceanic species.
